Ben's a Turtle

So, I bought Ben a toilet seat that fits onto the regular toilet seat. Out of no where Ben starts saying look at me Mommy, I'm a turtle. He had pulled down the toilet seat lid and was pretending to be a turtle. Where do they get this from?
